If you are applying for a passport, you need to pay the correct fee, in the local currency.

Please also note that call out fee (for issuing a temporary or emergency passport outside of office hours) is £128.00 and for every hour or part of an hour, for each officer, up to a maximum of £922.00

Passport fees should either be paid in cash in Tanzanian Shillings or by banker's drafts. We accept banker's draft made payable to "British High Commission". An additional fee of T.Shs 6,500/= is payable if the passport is to be sent by post.
