British Consular Officers can register death of a British national in Tanzania. Details of the documentation required and application forms for birth & death registration are given below:

• Completed Death registration form
• Municipal death certificate of the deceased (with a notarised English translation where applicable); 
• Cremation or burial certificate; 
• Doctor's/hospital report detailing cause of death; 
• Passport and nationality certificate of the deceased;
  

Fee in cash if you are calling personally at the Consular Section Counter. If you wish to pay by the post please send a bank draft made payable to "British High Commission".
