Chevening scholarships 2010 will launch in September 2009
The Chevening scholarship programme for the 2010-2011 academic year will be launched in September 2009. Applications will be accepted until the end of December 2009.

UK in Tanzania
The UK is one of Tanzania's two largest bilateral development partners, and its largest provider of General Budget Support (GBS). The UK is also one of the largest sources of foreign direct investment. Improving the business environment (which includes the quality of governance) is the crucial key to Tanzania's prosperity. Tanzania is also a vital player on regional peace and security, through its leading roles in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the International Conference on the Great Lakes, and the African Union (AU). The UK and Tanzania are working together for prosperity, peace and security.
